Welcome to the British Army Tennis Association
The Army Tennis Association is responsible for delivering tennis, padel and pickleball in the Army in line with the LTA and Pickleball England rules and guidelines. The ATA caters for players of all levels – from beginner to advanced – with training, tournaments and events throughout the year.
The tennis competition pathway below provides you with an idea of what is available for this all year-round sport. So if you’ve never picked up a racquet before and fancy giving it a try, or if you’ve played to a high level and want to represent the Army at tennis including the opportunity to play at Wimbledon during the Inter services.
Currently padel and pickleball as new sports have annual Army championships and Inter Service championships. We are aiming to grow both disciplines and we welcome new players or anyone wishing to give it a go.
